574 Invest is taking a minority stake in Electra, a specialist in fast charging for electric cars, alongside Eurazeo, Rgreen, Rive Private Investment, Serena and the RATP corporate venture fund. 160 million in equity that will enable the startup to accelerate the deployment of its charging stations.

Electra had already raised €15 million in 2021 from Serena and Eurazeo, and now has 45 charging points across France.

By 2030, the company plans to deploy an additional 8,000 charging stations: “We want to accelerate the transition to electric mobility as much as possible“, explains Aurélien de Meaux, Co-founder and CEO of Electra. This objective is in line with that of the SNCF group to develop the use of low-carbon mobility, and motivated the participation of 574 Invest in the last investment round.

574 Invest’s investment will strengthen the collaboration between the SNCF group and Electra, in particular through its subsidiary “gare et connexion”, and accelerate the installation of electric terminals near and within stations.
